Official Press Release Greek Cybercrime Center: 1st Two-day Training Seminar

Athens, 31 January 2014

The 1st Two-day Seminar of the Greek Centre for Cybercrime (GCC) held on 20th & 21st  January 2014, at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel, with the participation of representatives from the European Cybercrime Center (EC3) of Europol, the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA), Public Prosecutors, Hellenic Police Law Enforcement Officers, Public Sector personnel and members of the academic community.

During the seminar, current emerging issues on Cybercrime we discussed along to support prevention measures, towards establishing a common understanding and optimizing the cooperation of all involved stakeholders.

The 1st Two-day Seminar was organized by the Centre for Security Studies in cooperation with the Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and the Greek Self-Regulatory Body Internet Content (Safenet), under the European Programme of the Directorate General DG HOME AFFAIRS EU.
