CyNC 2013 – Cybercrime Network Conference

The Center for Security Studies (KEMEA) of the Hellenic Ministry of Public Order and Citizen Protection, as a member of the Greek Cybercrime Center, a funded project from DG Home Affairs of the EU, participated in the Cybercrime Network Conference  on Sunday 8th December – Tuesday 10th December, 2013, in Dublin, Ireland.

The conference, hosted by UCD Centre for Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Investigation, is the first of its kind. This inaugural event brought together Cybercrime Centres of Excellence from across Europe to showcase the efforts taking place to combat crime in the cyber environment.

The conference agenda has been designed to appeal to all stakeholders working in the cyber sphere, including law enforcement, academia, industry and government.

The objective of the conference was to add tangible value to the fight against cybercrime, and included demonstrations of open source forensic tools, investigator training workshops and updates from experts working in the field.

KEMEA presented the project results of the newly established Greek Cybercrime Center (GCC) and provided a presentation related to Acquisition and Analysis of Android Memory.
