The European Symposium on Border Surveillance & Search and Rescue Operations Technology, with the participation of 9 EU Research Projects under the FP7 funding will take place on the 27th & 28th of November in Heraklion Crete.
The Symposium shall be an important and meaningful event for the Border Surveillance and SAR communities and will bring together researchers, industry and academia for presenting their R&D achievements in diverse topics of BSSAR. Furthermore, the Symposium will provide the opportunity for live demonstration as well as a Technology Exhibition Tour for the participants. In the roundtable discussions the Industry viewpoint will be presented by the European Organization for Security (EOS), along with the one of the End Users by FRONTEX, and MS LEAs.
The participants of the Symposium will be officials from the EU along with high level executives of the private industry, acknowledged members of the Academia, and high ranking officers of the MS LEAs.
