On 23th and 24th of November 2006, KEMEA organized the 1st Security Seminar on Critical Infrastrucrues. The event took place at Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens and was attended by high-ranked Security Officials representing almost the whole of the country’s Critical Infrastructure network. The speakers during this Seminar were active and retired Officers of the various Greek Law enforcement Agencies and they originated from the core team which planned and realized the Security Programme of Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
KEMEA’s President of the BoD made the following statement:
“It is an honor and a pleasure to welcome you in the very first event of KEMEA, the 1st Security Seminar on Critical Infrastructures. This day is actually the first year anniversary of KEMEA’s Board of Directors first assembly. One of the various strategic goals had set during this first assembly concrned the organization of training seminars on the axis of transfering the know-how gained from Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
Wthin the framework of KEMEA’s founding act leveraging the Human Resources of the Law Enforcement Agencies in our country -resources which consists an international point of reference due to its experience and expertise resulting from the orginazation of Major Events, and especially, after the successful organization of Athens 2004 Olympic Games- KEMEA planned a series of high level events which the main axis is Security and more specifically the contemporain problems and issues questioning public and private caariers and organizations as well”.
