On 14 October 2025, the Center for Security Studies welcomed a delegation from the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) during the Foundation\u2019s study visit to Greece focused on \u201cPan-European Security and Defence.\u201d The discussion centered on KEMEA’s and Greek law enforcement authorities’ contributions to strengthening European security and defense, particularly in border protection and resilience against hybrid threats. Research associates from KEMEA showcased ongoing research and innovation efforts that demonstrate Greece’s active role in supporting the European Union’s collective ability to prevent, detect, and respond to emerging security challenges. Additionally, the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss future cooperation between KEMEA and the Hanns Seidel Foundation, specifically in areas related to hybrid threat resilience, digital security, and cross-border collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n
