In the scientific event that took place at the \u201cRadisson Blue Park Hotel Athens\u201d, participated 67 experts, on the field of terrorism, representing 17 countries, in total. KEMEA Experts supported the agenda\u2019s meeting, bringing their knowledge and experience. On 16<sup>th<\/sup> of October, KEMEA hosted at its premises the welcome dinner aiming to bring together all the participants of the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The opening speech was made by the member of the Board of Directors of KEMEA Christos Mantzioros. In the first part of the programme the Security Policy Advisor of the Ministry of Citizen Protection Dr. Triantafyllos Karatrantos, the Expert of KEMEA Vasileios Roussakis and the Associate Expert of KEMEA Dr. Nikolaos Lampas presented their aspects in the thematic \u201cRadicalization &#8211; Understanding a highly dynamic and multi-casual phenomenon\u201d. The second thematic was dedicated to \u201cForeign Fighters &#8211; A decade of policy making\u201d. The daily agenda continued with the presentations of the Experts of EENeT and was completed with the podium discussion on the topic \u201cRadicalization in context: Best practices and lessons learned\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The second day opened with the display of research projects and studies implemented by the Federal Criminal Police Office of Germany (BKA).
