CIVILnEXt is a Horizon 2020 Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) project aiming to develop, test and validate a cost-effective and interoperable Operation Control Platform (OCP) for supporting EU civilian external policies in the long term. The underlying scope focuses on enhancing communications, knowledge-sharing, information access, situational awareness and preparedness towards improving efficiency, visibility and impact of missions with multinational demand and CSDP characteristics. This procurement project is the sequence of the project CIVILEX, a Coordination and Support Action (CSA) of the 2014-2015 Secure Societies Work Programme under Horizon 2020, taking into account its findings that will lead to the proposed solution. <\/p>\n

Why attend the CIVILnEXt Open Market Consultation Event<\/strong><\/p>\n The aim of this event is twofold. First, to raise awareness on the update of the Prior Information Notice (PIN)<\/a><\/span> published in the Official Journal of the EU about the Procurement of CIVILnEXt regarding the development of an Operation Control Platform (OCP) oriented in supporting the execution of civilian CSDP missions in the future. Second, through this open market consultation event CIVILnEXt, during a specifically foreseen session, aims in collecting valuable insights on Industry expectations and skills which can be used to perfect the tender specifications. The ultimate goal of the Open Market Consultation event is to attract the interest of the Security and ICT industry including Small, Medium and Large enterprises<\/strong> operating in this sector and also to welcome representatives of EU Institutions, EC as well as national organizations engaged in operations with CSDP characteristics on behalf of EU and\/or member states.<\/p>\n A total amount of 6.2 million EUR (ex. VAT) <\/strong>will be available for the procurement<\/strong> phases of this project.<\/p>\n Kindly take not that although there is no event participation fee, there is however a participation limitation due to room capacity.
