Space, Security &amp; Migration Disaster Risk Management Unit &#8211; JRC.E.1, organized a Training Program on issues related to the Protection of Critical Infrastructures, focusing on the energy sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Experts from JRC, from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), from the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) and European countries (Portugal, Switzerland, Germany) participated in the program; and also forty-two (42) representatives from Ministries and from public and private institutions attended the Program, as listed below:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT &amp; ENERGY<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">SECRETARY GENERAL FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS &amp; POSTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">NATIONAL<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">&nbsp;CERT<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">CYBER CRIME DIVISION\/HELLENIC POLICE<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">REGULATORY AUTHORITY FOR ENERGY<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">INDEPENDENT POWER TRANSMISSION OPERATOR (ADMIE A.E.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">INDEPENDENT GAS TRANS MISSION SYSTEM OPERATOR (DESFA A.E.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">HELLENIC ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION NETWORK OPERATOR S.A. line-height: normal; background: white none repeat scroll 0% 0%;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">&bull; Theoretical &ndash; which included the development of issues related to the protection of critical infrastructures and<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 7.5pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white none repeat scroll 0% 0%;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">&bull; a table top exercise, including a scenario with hybrid threats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 7.5pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white none repeat scroll 0% 0%;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Topics discussed and analyzed in detail, were:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm; text-indent: -7.1pt; line-height: normal; background: white none repeat scroll 0% 0%;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">&bull; Presentation &ndash; exploitation of the outcomes of European research projects in the field of the Protection of Critical Infrastructures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm;
